Marie from Mountain Laurel Literacy needed help getting her website set up. Her target audience is elementary to high school literacy teachers, so you’ll find a variety of literacy instructional techniques and resources shared on her site. She is a reading interventionist and serves all grades in her school district.
The name of her site came from her love of the mountains and the mountain laurels which are found in her area, so this was the inspiration for the design. We pulled the color palette from the colors in the mountain laurels and found complimentary colors to go with them.
About the Mountain Laurel Literacy:
Marie wanted to feature her lesson ideas and teaching resources on her site, so we included specific section on the home page to direct traffic easily. There are sections for her blog content, about me, her shop and products, and her philosophy of practicality in teaching.
