Cindy has been a TPTer for over ten years, and she thought her site, Love Those Kinders, was in need of an update. Well, with so much on her to-do list, we decide to keep the theme, but update the branding. Now, the site has a fresh new look and a new domain too. Cindy’s old URL was https://lovethosekinders-kinderkay.blogspot.com, and that’s a LOT of characters!
LOVE THOSE KINDERS SITE OUTLINE:
With Cindy’s project, I focused on her home page and single post page. I added more of a focus on her TPT store by including her best sellers in a shop promo, adding a slider to her sidebar as well as links to her custom categories.
We also focused on branding. I added a hero image at the top, and made a template for her featured images to carry the color scheme across the site. Finally, I worked on the back end of the site to improve functionality by converting to webP format images, redirecting to the new domain, turning on the meta description so that post SEO can be added, and lastly, I added a contact page for customers to reach out to her.
