Peg Hutson, a speech and language pathologist, shares lesson ideas and resources for clinicians. She needed a site that highlights all she has to offer. This included a home page spotlighting her ideas, testimonials, and resources, a blog page for posts where she’ll share her ideas, an about page, contact page, and a subscribe page to grow her email list. She really loved a recent site I had done, and she wanted the layout to be the same, so that made my job a little easier. Below, you’ll find the details.
How Peg Hutson’s Site was Built:
Peg had a logo she’d been using, and she asked me to use similar colors. When selecting colors, I try to choose a mix of soft tones and bold tones. The soft tones work well for background colors while the bold tones work well for accents and elements you want to stand out. We used lavender, pale pink, and light blue as the soft tones and mulberry and a teal blue for the bold colors. I love how it came together.
For fonts, we used KG Blank Space Solid and Janda Cheerful Script. Peg liked how the color palette was used in her header and logo and especially the speech bubbles because…she’s an SLP!

Peg Hutson Testimonial:
Peg was very pleased with her site, and here’s what she had to say…
I can heartily recommend Carla for website design. She is very easy to work with and answers questions quickly and thoroughly. Carla made the whole process so easy for this beginner. I am very pleased with my logo and the website design. Carla worked tirelessly to make the website what I wanted.
