I have known Linda from The Teacher’s Post for many years, and I was so thrilled to help her get the site she really wanted. Linda moved The Teacher’s Post from Blogger to WordPress a few years ago, but the previous developer failed to complete several critical components. For starters, the old site took over 21 seconds to load! Well, we took care of that and so much more.
The previous site was built using Kadence, but it was challenging for Linda to use. We replaced the theme with the Hello theme by Elementor, and I set up all of her key templates including a custom header, footer, blog archive and single post page, custom sidebar, search page, and custom pages for her home, about, freebie, and contact pages. She’s thrilled with the result, and I am too. Her site went from a D to an A on GT Metrix, and now loads in under 2 seconds. Yay!
